Zweifellos hat der lange Prozess der Beherrschung, den die andinen Gemeinschaften in den letzten Jahrhunderten erlitten haben, ihre traditionelle wirtschaftliche und soziale Organisation zersplittert. Dennoch bestehen an bestimmten Orten bestimmte Praktiken der Ressourcenausbeutung im Rahmen einer Organisation fort, die als verschwunden galt. Dieses Buch ist eine Abhandlung über das Fortbestehen einer Art von Andenwissen im Zusammenhang mit der Bewirtschaftung von ökologischen Böden in vertikalen Räumen (Mikrovertikalität). Die Anerkennung dieser Art von traditionellem Wissen ist eine Gelegenheit, neue wirtschaftliche und soziale Logiken zu schaffen, die über die agroindustriellen Entwicklungsparadigmen hinausgehen.
