In Okinawa, Japan the utility covers found on the street surfaces are works of art. They are beautifully designed and tell the observant pedestrian a great deal about the people, their passions, and the communities where they are found. I’ve spent several years photographing these iron bas relief sculptures and I present them in this gallery just for you.
