David Fawcett has spent over twenty years commuting to work in London from his home in Kent. His paintings depict the things, the people and the places he has seen during the thousands of hours he has spent on public transport. He captures beautifully the idiosyncracies and charms of a London in motion.David Fawcett is a scrivener notary and partner practising in the firm of De Pinna Notaries in London. As a scrivener notary he specialises in French and Italian notarial work. He has worked in London for thirty years and has commuted from his home in Tunbridge Wells for the last twenty. He is a self-taught painter and has exhibited widely. Over the years his paintings have been used for album and book covers, in music videos, formed a postcard at the Royal Academy, and have lent themselves to a limited edition range of accessories for Ted Baker.
