O comportamento em matéria de investimento é, por sua vez, significativamente influenciado pela conceção dos instrumentos políticos destinados a combater o aquecimento global. Os resultados deste trabalho de investigação pretendem contribuir para uma melhor compreensão das decisões de política empresarial das empresas abrangidas pelo RCLE-UE. Desta forma, pretende-se demonstrar aos decisores, políticos, gestores e investigadores a eficácia do comércio de emissões no combate ao aquecimento global, na perspetiva das empresas.
