O objectivo deste livro é analisar a posição do vinho espanhol na República Checa, dado que, apesar da associação histórica do país ao consumo de cerveja, a sua procura de vinho tem aumentado significativamente nos últimos anos. Com base numa abordagem de investigação mista, esta investigação destaca o baixo nível de conhecimento e apreciação do vinho do país ibérico no mercado checo. Estes resultados são utilizados para criar propostas de valor para produtores e distribuidores de vinho em Espanha, de modo a que possam melhorar a sua posição actual nesse país ou desenvolver estratégias de entrada se ainda não estiverem presentes no mercado checo. Em particular, é colocada ênfase na importância das práticas comerciais para aumentar o conhecimento do vinho espanhol, bem como para reforçar a ligação entre a marca espanhola e o seu vinho.
