Após 18 meses de mandato, em março de 2015, o Presidente IBK enfrenta inúmeros desafios, sendo o mais importante deles a pacificação do norte do país. Moussa MARA, primeiro-ministro de abril de 2014 a janeiro de 2015, contribui à sua maneira para este esforço, apresentando regularmente aos seus compatriotas artigos de opinião publicados na imprensa. O acordo de paz, celebrado em meados de 2015, é apresentado e analisado em pormenor para destacar os seus aspetos significativos e os seus pontos sensíveis, bem como para submeter ideias ao Governo com vista à sua promoção. Este ano de 2015 foi também marcado por atentados terroristas, de Paris a Bamako, passando por Sevaré, que suscitaram vários artigos. O ano de 2016 ficou marcado pela implementação tímida do acordo e pelos primeiros debates eleitorais com vista às eleições gerais de 2018. O ano de 2017, por sua vez, viu o regime a vacilar seriamente devido aos conflitos sociais, aos questionamentos relativos ao lugar da religião na vida pública e, por fim, aos debates em torno da questão da reforma constitucional. Os artigos do primeiro-ministro MARA abordam cada um destes temas, apresentando sugestões destinadas a preservar o tecido social.
