في هذا الكتاب، أحاول أن أقدّم للأهل صورة شاملة عن العديد من الأمراض التي قد تصيب الطفل في مراحل حياته الأولى، سواء أكانت المرضية أو الجراحية، محاولةً شرحها وتبسيطها من خلال الإضاءة على الأمور المهمة، سواء أكانت أعراض أم علامات أم وسائل تشخيص. كذلك طرق التعاطي والتعامل مع الطفل بحالة المرض كما هو الحال في حالة الصحة، وخاصةً بعد التطور المذهل والسريع في معالجة أمراض وجراحة الأطفال، حيث تحوّلت إلى اختصاصات متعددة ضمن الاختصاص الواحد. لذلك يجب على الأهل أن يكون عندهم الثقافة الصحية اللازمة من خلال الاطلاع على الأمراض الجراحية، والتشوهات الولادية، والأمراض المرافقة التي تحدث خلال فترة الطفولة الأولى. كذلك أصبح من الضروريات عندهم تكوين فكرة مستبقة عن تطور حياة مولودهم الجديد، حيث أن تشخيص أغلب الحالات المرضية والجراحية يعتمد على وعي الأهل الصحي وتعاونهم مع الطبيب المعالجThis book aims to provide parents with a comprehensive overview of various diseases that may affect children in their early years, whether medical or surgical. It also highlights the necessity of having a preemptive understanding of their newborn’s development, as the diagnosis of most medical and surgical conditions depends on parents’ health awareness and their cooperation with the treating physician.
