This research was developed during the Postgraduate Course in Computational Modeling - PPGMC at the academic master’s level at the Federal University of Rio Grande - FURG, from 2015 to 2017. Financial support was provided by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel - CAPES. The basis of this research focused on a process of liquid molding of composites (RTM - Resin Transfer Molding) and used free software (OpenFOAM) for the numerical simulation of the problem.
