Este libro es una compilación de experiencias y problemas resueltos durante muchos años de la asignatura de Ingeniería de Reactores de la carrera universitaria de Ingeniería Química a nivel licenciatura en la Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos. El objetivo es que sea una guía práctica a los estudiantes para la resolución de problemas, por lo que contiene únicamente una breve explicación y desarrollo conceptos teóricos elementales necesarios para entender la manera en que los problemas fueron resueltos. En ningún momento pretende sustituir las grandes obras de los autores Octave Levenspiel, Scott Fogler, J. M. Smith, entre otros, y se invita a los interesados a consultarlas para un aprendizaje más profundo y mayor entendimiento de los tópicos tratados, ya que este libro está basado en muchos de los conceptos contenidos en ellas.
