Работа учителей в современном мире вызывает глобальную озабоченность среди участников образовательного процесса. Всякий раз, когда публикуются результаты национальных экзаменов, отражающие презрительные результаты учеников, родители, политики и все заинтересованные стороны в сфере образования обвиняют учителей в плачевных результатах обучения учеников. И наоборот, учителя приводят в пример множество слабых мотиваторов в своей работе. Учителю необходимы благоприятные условия, чтобы он мог раскрыть все свои способности для эффективного выполнения своего профессионального учительского долга; достойное жилье рядом со школой, признание со стороны властей, продвижение по службе могут повлиять на частое посещение учителем школы и академическую успеваемость учеников. Поэтому в данном исследовании была поставлена цель изучить взаимосвязь между мотивацией и эффективностью работы учителей в средних школах округа Букедеа в Восточной Уганде. Статистика t-теста для немонетарных, монетарных мотиваторов и эффективности работы учителей показала, что p-значение для всех пунктов составило 0,000, что указывает на статистически значимое отличие от среднего согласия, выявляющее сильную положительную связь между гипотетическими переменными и конструктами данного исследования.
