Различие и классификация воздуходувок обычно основаны на повышении давления, рабочем давлении, удельной скорости и механической конструкции. В этой книге рассказывается о значении воздуходувок, геометрической аэродинамике и рабочих параметрах. Далее в книге рассматривается исторический путь развития турбомашин для преобразования обычных воздуходувок и компрессоров в 'зеленые' воздуходувки и компрессоры. Для реализации Целей устойчивого развития ООН необходимо повысить эффективность и промышленное масштабирование крупномасштабных воздуходувок и компрессоров, чтобы они соответствовали экономическим, социально-экономическим, наземным условиям реализации, устойчивости (экологичности) и геополитическому сценарию.
