Программа 'Великой перезагрузки' направлена на комплексное изменение глобальных экономических и политических отношений, ориентации национальных экономик, приоритетов в обществе, существующих бизнес-моделей и управления глобальным достоянием. В этом контексте ВЭФ и его члены неоднократно давали обещания построить 'более справедливый, более зеленый, более устойчивый, более умный и более жизнеспособный мир'. Шваб и Маллере (2020) противопоставляют страхи перед обществом глобального наблюдения преимуществам 'четвертой промышленной революции' или 'гиперцифровизации', ускоренной кризисом здравоохранения Covid-19. Выиграют от этих перемен технологический и медицинский сектора, а сфере услуг, в частности, придется заново создавать себя.
