Эта книга родилась из необходимости поразмышлять о глухоте и глухом человеке. Как объясняется в книге, хотя слова 'глухой' и 'глухота' кажутся синонимами, они таковыми не являются. А это уже априори является моральной проблемой, которую необходимо поставить под сомнение. В связи с необходимостью такого подхода на академической сцене возникает его проблематизация. В этом и заключается смысл: проблематизировать два слова, которые со временем стали и циркулируют как синонимы, но таковыми не являются. Однако остается вопрос: почему существует необходимость натурализовать 'глухоту' как средство идентификации глухих людей? Что стоит за биополитической игрой, превратившей оба слова в средства системной группировки в сообществе глухих? Глухота - это слово/понятие, которое находится на территории биокапитала. Однако важно понимать, что это не неопубликованные тексты, потому что книга основана на двух статьях, которые были опубликованы в предыдущие годы. Несмотря на то, что обе статьи написаны в прошлые годы, их темы остаются актуальными из-за медлительности, с которой развиваются события. Поэтому после обновления оба текста остаются актуальными. Так что приятного чтения!
