Данное исследование, имеющее исторический характер, посвящено подготовке преподавателей для ЕЯ - формы обучения, которая направлена на обслуживание той части населения, которая по разным причинам не имеет возможности посещать или завершать базовое школьное образование в обычные сроки. В поисках понимания подготовки преподавателей для образования молодежи и взрослых можно заметить, что количество конкретных исследований, посвященных подготовке преподавателей для этой формы образования, все еще невелико, хотя и растет, и что большинство из них объявляются в контексте законодательства, через юридический документ, который транслирует намерения образовательной политики, которая, в свою очередь, опускает эту подготовку или проясняет ее в зачаточном виде. В связи с этим данное исследование посвящено учителям ИЯ с точки зрения их подготовки. Какие формирующие идеалы, по мнению учителей ИЯ, они получили в процессе обучения? Какие знания были частью этой подготовки? Вот вопросы, на которые предстоит ответить в ходе данной работы.
