Influence is an hourly act. Positive or negative; we all crave for guidance in one fashion or another. We glance to our parents, we watch to our coaches, and we glance to our teachers for reassurance and for counseling. We desire the pats on the back, the at-a-boy moments and of course recognition, when we do something enormous. However, personal influence is much more than a cheerleader, more than a ring-side coach; it’s one that is the way, for they show the way, through their daily regiment. We often look to the rich-and-famous, the star-athlete, or the politician as a beacon. Yet, the ones who greatly impact your life are the day-to-day people with who you interact with. As we push further and further deep into our roots as to why we turned out the way were are, we must really give thanks to the local adults who molded us, groomed us, guided us and of course who showed compassion for us. Our journey in life is a set of stages; it’s one door after another that we have to unlock and face fears, trials and of course celebrate. Our soul purpose in life is to guide and educate the next generation; shape them into hard-working individuals. Allow them to stumble, yet, support them. Allow them to achieve, yet, settle them down. It’s a game that has been played for thousands of years, the game of influence. Positive influence has a far greater impact than negative influence. This book will show you what can happen when one is encouraged, when one is challenged and pushed through positive guidance. This account will establish that it’s up to us in the long run. But, it’s the small stories and the journey thorough positive influence, which allowed us to triumph. The local butcher; small, but influential in the BIG game of life.
