In today’s era of rapid digitization and information technology advancement, web searching and web data mining stand at the core of the technological progress of numerous web-based applications, serving as the main methods of extracting valuable information from large amounts of network data. The models, algorithms, and techniques of web searching and web data mining are constantly and rapidly evolving, leading to various autonomous, proactive, content-exploring, self-learning, socially collaborative, and location-aware web applications.
