Ce livre décrit l’architecture d’un nano-assemblage de peptides de points quantiques, ses propriétés photoniques et optoélectroniques moléculaires pour la biodétection et l’imagerie des cellules cancéreuses. L’objectif de la recherche se compose de trois parties 1) la bioconjugaison de points quantiques (QDs) avec une molécule non fluorescente de quencher-1 (BHQ-1) pour construire un nano-assemblage et la formation d’un réseau d’un grand nombre de nano-assemblages sur une surface de nanoparticules de silice mésoporeuse. 2) Établissement d’une transduction du signal par transfert d’énergie par résonance de Fӧrster (FRET) entre le donneur de QD et l’accepteur de BHQ-1 en établissant un pont entre les deux par le biais d’un peptide court ciblant la métalloprotéinase matricielle-2 (MMP-2). 3) Détection de la présence de MMP-2 dans la solution ainsi que dans la matrice extracellulaire (ECM) des cellules cancéreuses.
