Ковид-19 стал проблемой общественного здравоохранения с момента его обнаружения в Китае в 2019 году. Эта пандемия имеет серьезные последствия для физического, психического и социального здоровья людей, затронутых ею. Целью данного исследования было определить влияние коронавирусной инфекции на население Алжира с помощью ретроспективного описательного опроса и выявить органические и психосоциальные последствия, вызванные этой инфекцией, известной как Covid long. Результаты показали, что половина респондентов (52%) имели симптомы Covid long, включая различные симптомы, наиболее частыми из которых были боли в суставах (72%), усталость (70%), диабет (67%), одышка (52%), артериальная гипертензия (44%) и аритмия (37%). Наиболее выраженным психологическим симптомом была тревога, за которой следовала депрессия. Хотя случаи госпитализации редки, эти затяжные формы заболевания будут иметь серьезные социальные последствия, что потребует принятия соответствующих профилактических и общественных мер.
