В данном исследовании рассматривается влияние кризиса безопасности и наводнений на производство перца в коммуне Диффа. Последствия кризиса безопасности - настоящая трагедия для населения в целом и фермеров в частности. Ущерб, нанесенный экономике региона, весьма значителен. Общая цель исследования - показать влияние кризиса безопасности и наводнений на производство перца в городской коммуне Диффа. Результаты показывают, что кризис безопасности и периодические наводнения оказали негативное влияние на сектор производства перца в городском округе Диффа. Прежде всего, 45% опрошенных производителей прекратили производство перца из-за угрозы со стороны Боко Харам, а 32% забросили свои земли из-за периодических наводнений. Сокращение посевных площадей и падение производства были самыми значительными последствиями, что привело к сокращению почти 78,4 га, или 73,17% посевных площадей, и падению производства примерно на 85,11%.
