'My Journey to Become a Grandfather,' is about my search for purpose and meaning in life. In compiling this account of 70+ years, it sometimes felt like I was walking down the aisles of a supermarket and pulling items off the shelves - 'hmm, this looks good' or 'how about this one?' So much to choose from, because 70 years really is a long time, and attached to each event and person are moments to cherish and life lessons to be learned. Though I didn’t always recognize them at the time, with the benefit of 20/20 hindsight and spiritual discernment, I see there were indeed mighty lessons and clear evidence of an invisible hand or a guardian angel guiding and protecting me along each step of the winding path.
