My Journey Continues is a continuation of the author’s memoirs that she began in her first book of memoirs 'My Happy Feet.' Ruth Anne’s journal entries are about her day to day, sometimes minute to minute struggles living with Parkinson’s disease. Her memoir,'My Happy Feet,' journals her early symptoms and diagnosis at the age of thirty-nine. Her entries include her emotions, treatment, and the raising of her family while battling a degenerative brain disease. She is brutally honest, emotional, and sometimes funny. 'My Journey Continues' picks up right where 'My Happy Feet' leaves off.The book shares heartwarming memories of the author’s childhood, and how living with Parkinson’s has shaped her into who she is today. As the disease progresses, Ruth Anne is honest in sharing the turmoil that it causes in her life and the lives of those she loves. With a strong faith in God and a desire to serve Him, she continues on her journey and hopes to be a source of encouragement to those suffering with Parkinson’s.
