La escritura es uno de los procesos más complejos y relevantes para el ser humano. A través de él, el hombre establece canales de comunicación y aprendizaje. En los primeros años, el niño empieza a decodificar símbolos y signos que favorecerán, a partir de habilidades motrices y cognitivas, el desarrollo integral y el éxito en su vida escolar. Por esta razón se la influencia de la motricidad y el desarrollo de la lateralidad en los procesos de escritura en niños educación básica primaria. El objetivo es exponer una propuesta de intervención pedagógica para fortalecer el desarrollo de la competencia de la escritura a través del trabajo con la motricidad y la lateralidad de niños y niñas de Educación Básica Primaria. Todo el estudio de la investigación se desarrolla en una institución educativa de la ciudad de Bogotá DC.
