Ziel dieser Untersuchung war es, das morphologische Profil und seine Auswirkungen auf die Entwicklung bestimmter körperlicher Qualitäten zu ermitteln. Die Analyse ergab, dass das Trainingsprogramm der Gruppe zu einer deutlichen Verbesserung der Leistung bei den geforderten physischen Qualitäten führte. Die größte prozentuale Verbesserung wurde bei der Explosivkraft der unteren Gliedmaßen (vertikale Entspannung) beobachtet.Die Hauptkomponentenanalyse ergab drei Faktoren in der Reihenfolge ihrer Bedeutung, die den sportlichen Erfolg eines Torwarts zu bestimmen scheinen:- Morphologische Indizien, die Spannweite und Längen der Brust- und Beckengliedmaßen und ihrer Extremitäten, ein relativ hohes Gewicht und eine hohe Körpergröße;- Körperliche Qualitäten wie Schnelligkeit und, in geringerem Maße, Ausdauer;- eine gute Muskelmasse.Diese Bewertung von Fußballtorhütern ist ein erster Schritt zur Bestimmung der morpho-biometrischen und physischen Qualitäten.
