Mollie Chau’s illustration medium is colour pencils. This is a collection of soft-tone artworks in which the author has imagined a fantasy quite distinct from the real world: an expression in forms, lines, shapes and abstractions. A picture can paint a thousand words; this is why the author loves art. It makes her feel happily centred and organized. Chau worships the sun, the moon and the clouds. Happy flowers, dolls, fish and houses are always her content. Anything that surrounds her can become a feature of her illustration.
