La modélisation moléculaire est un outil qui comprend des techniques informatiques utilisées pour simuler l’acide désoxyribonucléique (ADN) et les protéines. Le couplage est une étude dans le domaine de la modélisation moléculaire qui prédit l’orientation préférentielle de la liaison des protéines à l’ADN. Cet ouvrage analyse la modélisation moléculaire de la nucléoside diphosphate kinase (NDP kinase, une protéine qui supprime la métastase du cancer) et son interaction avec l’ADN pBR322 et l’élément activateur responsable (RE-1) des métalloprotéases matricielles (MMP-2). Ce livre aborde également l’interaction de la NDP kinase avec la topoisomérase et l’interaction de la topoisomérase avec l’ADN pBR322. Les lecteurs de ce livre apprendront les principes fondamentaux de la modélisation moléculaire et des interactions protéine-ADN et protéine-protéine.
