Questo libro presenta le relazioni pertinenti tra design, moda e architettura e come questi settori possano contribuire l’uno all’altro. L’obiettivo è quello di mostrare le affinità e le interferenze che questi settori hanno nei loro processi creativi e come i professionisti operano in ciascun segmento. Per lo sviluppo di questo studio sono state investigate metodologie di progettazione nell’ambito dell’architettura e della moda. Sono state inoltre analizzate le procedure di creazione di due professioniste del settore della progettazione, l’architetto italiano naturalizzato brasiliano Lina Bo Bardi e la stilista brasiliana Glória Coelho. Lo scopo del lavoro è quello di indagare le procedure di creazione nei due campi, attraverso le due professioniste scelte, e come esse si assomigliano.
