Observing human behavior is fascinating from artists’ point of view, as it gives them the creative license to freely express by questioning what they see - not by providing answers. Because the answer always lies in an individual’s subjective interpretation of any work of art. It’s especially fun when you’re a self-taught surrealist sculptor, photographer, humorist, activist, poet, and world-traveler like Jim Peera who loves to shatter conventional boundaries with his raw and shock-appeal style of self-expression. In ’MINDF?CK’, Peera masterfully blends all his creative genius with a philosophical twist to treat the reader with one mission:  To go where no poetry book has gone before!  Having published his last successful poetry book, Unf*ck in the spring of 2023, Jim decides to embark on a world tour sharing his work with people from all walks of life in Latin America, U.S.A, and Europe. As an empath, he quickly notices a post-pandemic world where folks are in a malaise and are sleepwalking their way into a slow death - a mindfuck dilemma that he feels needs urgent unfucking.    In particular, he sees societal red-flags of imbalance such as: An inability to live in the present; A hesitancy to be vulnerable; A fear of being authentic; A loss of passion and sexual intimacy; A habit of taking life too seriously; An urge to retreat into tribalism and; An unwillingness to take self-responsibility. Jim starts to question and express all of these issues in his poetry writings during his travels. His intention: To inspire awareness, open dialogue, and activate self-transformation for the reader.
