His undeniable love for music and passion for the written (and spoken) word shape his sentences into rhythmic compositions that leave readers craving more long after they’ve turned the last page.            Raised by a Detroit public school educator, Booth’s poetic infatuation sprouted at a very young age—landing him a poetry feature in The Michigan Chronicle, Detroit’s oldest African-American newspaper, at the age of twelve. His obsession with the concept of love, coupled with his strong interest in community affairs and social conscious topics, led him to compile essay-style narrations, which catapulted him into writing competitions as early as high school. Supported by teachers and family, Booth soon excelled in numerous writing contests, where he greater honed his skills and learned how to engage audiences of all diversities.            Even when he attended Tuskegee University, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Booth not only played sports consistently—but he continued to pursue his exposition as he wrote about the parallels of love and life.            In his debut book, Miles Traveled Down Love’s Highway, Booth takes readers on a journey of life lessons and the reality of relationships. No matter where readers choose to get on this sensual highway, they will experience pain, pleasure and fiery passion—even if they only read one excerpt. Written from a personal perspective of his past mishaps, mistakes and misfits, Booth strives to intertwine the realistic, yet unexpected love life of the average reader—allowing readers worldwide to not only see themselves, but feel themselves in the moment.            Because of his great love for all things literary, Booth founded Street Light Dreams, LLC, where he cultivates and educates writers to pursue their passion and become published authors. He resides with his wife, Fallon, in the surrounding metropolitan Detroit area.
