Hydrazon, ein Derivat von Aldehyden und Ketonen, spielt eine Schlüsselrolle in der medizinischen Chemie und wird für verschiedene biologische Aktivitäten wie antibakterielle, entzündungshemmende, schmerzstillende, krebshemmende, pilzhemmende und antioxidative Wirkungen beschrieben. Es gibt verschiedene Synthesemethoden für Hydrazonderivate wie Rühren, Rückfluss und Mikrowellenbestrahlung. Diese Studie berichtet über die mikrowellenunterstützte Synthese von Isoindol-Hydrazonderivaten mit guten Ausbeuten in wenigen Minuten. Die hergestellten Isoindol-Derivate wurden mit Hilfe von Spektraltechniken charakterisiert und zeigten auch eine ausgezeichnete antimikrobielle Aktivität gegen ausgewählte Bakterien und Pilze.
