Die Mikroverkapselung der optimierten Mischung aus ätherischen Ölen wurde erfolgreich eingesetzt, um ein Produkt herzustellen, das als Lebensmittelzusatzstoff oder in der Pharmaindustrie zur Herstellung eines Nahrungsergänzungsmittels oder sogenannten nutrazeutischen Medikaments pflanzlichen Ursprungs verwendet werden kann.Die Charakterisierung des Mikrokapselpulvers ergab, dass das ätherische Öl erfolgreich in die aus dem Wandmaterial Maltodextrin bestehende Hüllmatrix eingebaut wurde, die eine Barriere darstellt, die den Schutz des Wirkstoffs sowie die Kontrolle seiner Freisetzung ermöglicht und die Eigenschaften des eingekapselten ätherischen Öls über einen langen Zeitraum hinweg bewahrt.Dieses Pulver aus Mikrokapseln mit einer Mischung aus ätherischen Ölen kann auch erfolgreich für medizinische Zwecke in Kapseln verwendet werden, um bestimmte Krankheiten zu beheben, insbesondere aufgrund seiner antioxidativen, antibakteriellen und entzündungshemmenden Eigenschaften.
