Ausgehend von biographischen Interviews arbeitet sie ausführliche Fallrekonstruktionen sowie übergreifende Konstellationen und Erkenntnisse heraus. Es wird deutlich, dass das Zusammentreffen der beiden Prozesse - Migration und Adoleszenz - zu spezifischen Herausforderungen führt, die nicht gewanderte Personen mit und ohne Migrationshintergrund nicht teilen. Im Fokus stehen vor allem die Auswirkungen einer Migration im Familienverbund, die lebensgeschichtliche Einbettung der Migration sowie die adoleszenten Auseinandersetzungen mit der eigenen Zugehörigkeit.
