Il metodo genealogico del filosofo Michel Foucault mette in discussione la sovranità e l’universalismo del soggetto moderno. Le idee antropologiche ed educative di Paulo Freire fanno parte del desiderio di trovare una soluzione ai meccanismi disciplinari che la società capitalista ha sviluppato e continua a perfezionare. L’educatore brasiliano ci ha permesso di comprendere una pedagogia che investe in pratiche di libertà e, allo stesso tempo, un’educazione basata sull’impegno, il rispetto e la fiducia nella persona umana, che per sua natura cerca sempre di essere di più.
