Les techniques analytiques modernes jouent un rôle clé dans l’évaluation des normes de qualité chimique des médicaments. Les techniques analytiques sont donc nécessaires pour fixer les normes des médicaments et les contrôler régulièrement. Les méthodes analytiques sont l’ensemble des techniques qui nous permettent de connaître qualitativement et/ou quantitativement la composition de tout matériau et produit chimique présent dans une formulation. Les méthodes analytiques sont développées afin d’établir l’identité, la pureté, les caractéristiques physiques et l’activité des médicaments, que ce soit à partir du médicament en vrac ou de sa forme de dosage. Ce projet visait à développer une méthode HPLC simple, exacte, précise, spécifique et robuste pour la quantification de la pipérine et à réaliser des études de validation de la méthode développée conformément aux directives ICH Q2 (R1), ce qui permet de déterminer la teneur en pipérine de formulations polyherbales sélectionnées.
