Le cancer du sein représente un défi majeur de santé publique en raison de ses taux d’incidence et de mortalité élevés, impactant profondément la vie des femmes. Une étude a évalué un programme éducatif basé sur le modèle des croyances de santé visant à améliorer les mesures préventives contre le cancer du sein chez 323 travailleuses de l’université de Beni-Suef. En utilisant un modèle de recherche quasi-expérimental, la recherche a révélé des améliorations significatives : les connaissances des femmes sur le cancer du sein sont passées de 4 % à 65,7 %, les croyances positives sur la prévention ont augmenté de 0,6 % à 63,2 %, et les pratiques adéquates de mesures préventives ont bondi de 18,6 % à 91,6 % après l’intervention. Les résultats indiquent que le programme éducatif a efficacement amélioré les connaissances, les croyances et les pratiques liées au cancer du sein chez les participantes. Des recherches qualitatives futures sont recommandées pour explorer les expériences personnelles et les opinions des employées sur la prévention du cancer du sein.
