O Livro aborda as transformações no mundo do trabalho e as práticas do Ensino superior voltadas para o capitalismo. Nessa nova ótica de trabalho, os colaboradores estão adoecendo. Há um confronto com o real. O sofrimento parece ser inevitável, apesar de ser considerado no mundo atual com certa normalidade, chama-se isso de compromisso. Foram entrevistados 23 coordenadores de cursos de graduação da IES que opera na cidade de São Paulo; os questionários aplicados foram: Questionário Qualitativo, PROART, Estresse Percebido, Atos Negativos e Qualidade de Vida. Os dados foram analisados nas perspectivas da psicodinâmica do Trabalho, de Christophe Dejours, e na clínica da atividade de Yves Clot e pela vertente dos Riscos Psicossociais (Facas, 2013). Os resultados indicam que há forte relação entre o trabalho que desenvolvem e os fatores de adoecimento. 10
