Der Autor präsentiert Rahmenbedingungen für gutes Mentoring und erfolgreiche Mentoringprogramme anhand quantitativer und qualitativer Daten. Untersuchungsgegenstand ist das bundesweit in dieser Form größte, fakultäts- und branchenübergreifende Mentoringprogramm der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. Aus den Ergebnissen der Studie werden Handlungsempfehlungen für die optimale Gestaltung von Mentoringprogrammen an Universitäten abgeleitet.
