Este estudo investiga o impacto da incorporação de nanopartículas de Al2O3 num sistema de ar condicionado com condutas no seu desempenho. Diferentes fracções de massa de nanopartículas são dispersas no refrigerante para avaliar a sua influência na transferência de calor e na eficiência global do sistema. São efectuados testes experimentais para medir parâmetros-chave como a capacidade de arrefecimento, o coeficiente de desempenho (COP) e a queda de pressão no sistema. Os resultados indicam que o aumento da fração mássica de nanopartículas de Al2O3 melhora a transferência de calor, enquanto aumenta ligeiramente a queda de pressão. O desempenho ótimo é observado em concentrações específicas de nanopartículas, sugerindo potenciais melhorias na eficiência energética e na eficácia do arrefecimento para sistemas de ar condicionado com condutas através do aumento das nanopartículas.
