Sobre IBD

O compósito de elastómero reforçado com partículas foi preparado adicionando cargas de reforço Al2O3 e SiO2 separadamente às duas matrizes separadas; borracha natural (NR) e borracha de estireno butadieno (SBR), em diferentes níveis de carga (0, 5, 10, 15, 20 e 25 pphr). Também são efectuados muitos ensaios específicos nestes compósitos. Foram estudados os efeitos das variáveis (tipo de matriz, tipo de cargas e respetivo nível de carga) nas propriedades mecânicas, que incluem: resistência à tração final, percentagem de alongamento na rutura, módulo de elasticidade, módulo de compressão, dureza, resistência ao desgaste por abrasão e resiliência ao ressalto. Também foi estudado o efeito nas propriedades físicas, que incluem: inchaço, condutividade térmica e gravidade específica.
