Il testo in questione presenta alcuni brevi aspetti teorici relativi alla pratica di Reuven Feuerstein sulla mediazione, nonché alla ricerca di Castanho (2001) evidenziata nella terza parte del testo. Come dimostrazione del fatto che le teorie si completano a vicenda, poiché una studia lo studente e l’altra studia l’insegnante. La probabilità che il metodo feuersteiniano fornisca segni di un’educazione positiva ed efficiente nei mediati è certa quanto il fatto che l’insegnante/mediatore, causa di questo segno, abbia anche vissuto un’esperienza educativa significativa, secondo gli studi di Castanho. Il riferimento teorico di Reuven Feuerstein tratta approcci teorici come la Modificabilità Cognitiva della Struttura, nonché la Valutazione Dinamica della Propensione all’Apprendimento e il Programma di Arricchimento Strumentale. L’Esperienza di Apprendimento Mediato, base della prassi feuersteiniana, può essere sviluppata a favore del miglioramento cognitivo, così come in Castanho che riporta, in racconti raccolti da insegnanti, sei osservazioni che sono punti di dialogo con quanto presentato nel lavoro di Feuerstein.
