Em segundo lugar, as novas tecnologias e ferramentas de informação e comunicação (TIC) desempenharam um papel essencial em termos de comunicação, verificação de dados e mobilização nestes movimentos. 'Media e conflito social' espera lançar alguma luz sobre a relação crescente entre os movimentos sociais contemporâneos e os media participativos online, centrando-se na experiência turca.
