And it shows under which real conditions stability can emerge again.Scientifically grounded, theoretically coherent, and humanly serious, this book offers a distinct systems theory of human consciousness one that is mechanistic without being reductionist, and clinically and socially relevant without losing sight of the lived human being.ACADEMIC POSITIONINGThis work develops a mechanistic biopsychosocial model of consciousness that conceptualizes consciousness as the regulatory system state of a living organism in a social world. It integrates biological allostasis, experience-based meaning formation, and social co-regulation into a coherent theoretical structure.
