​Isabell Bausch entwickelt und beschreibt ein praktikables Messinstrument zur Erfassung professionsbezogener Kompetenzen von Lehramtsstudierenden des Fachs Mathematik. Das Instrument TELPS (Teacher Education Lesson Plan Survey) wurde zwischen 2009 und 2013 an der TU Darmstadt und der University of Technology Sydney eingesetzt, um Entwicklungen von mathematikdidaktischem Wissen in der Unterrichtsplanung zu untersuchen. Die Autorin berichtet sowohl querschnittliche als auch längsschnittliche Ergebnisse und nutzt diese, um eine Webapplikation zu gestalten. Diese Applikation erzeugt ein automatisiertes Feedback zum erfassten mathematikdidaktischen Wissen und unterstützt so den Kompetenzerwerb in unterschiedlichen Ausbildungsphasen. Der gewählte Entwicklungsansatz über die Repertory Grid-Methode bietet auch die Möglichkeit der Übertragbarkeit auf andere Unterrichtsfächer.​
