Les vibrations des aubes des turbomachines sont essentielles à la durabilité et aux performances des moteurs à réaction. Le contrôle actif des vibrations à l’aide de capteurs et d’actionneurs piézoélectriques est récemment apparu comme une technologie pratique et prometteuse. Cet ouvrage traite d’une nouvelle technique d’amortissement des vibrations pour les hélices des véhicules aériens sans pilote (UAV) utilisant des transducteurs piézoélectriques (capteurs et actionneurs). Les performances d’amortissement dépendent du type et de l’emplacement des transducteurs piézoélectriques par rapport à la forme modale de la contrainte mécanique de l’aube. Des simulations numériques et des études expérimentales sont réalisées sur les pales de l’hélice afin d’amortir les vibrations. Les résultats montrent que les vibrations induites dans l’hélice sont amorties par l’application de transducteurs piézoélectriques.
