This book offers a comprehensive, methodical study of the design of pure, porous oxide heterojunctions for photocatalysis under visible light. It provides a detailed analysis of growth mechanisms, elaboration processes and interface interactions between the various oxides.The first part deals with the engineering of pure and porous oxide thin films, obtained by sol-gel and spin-coating deposition. The controlled introduction of porosity, achieved with PEG polymer using the Template method, is studied using structural, morphological and optical techniques to optimize material properties.
