Die Transfer-RNA Sprinzl-Darstellung (Kleeblatt) ist ein Einzelstrang mit 75-90 Nukleotiden, der zu einer präzisen Form gefaltet ist und als Zwischenglied zwischen mRNA und Protein fungiert. In Anbetracht des Wertes der Sekundärstruktur habe ich eine Datenbank mit dem Namen MANTRA: Manchester Database of tRNA and related sequences erstellt. Sie enthält tRNA aus verschiedenen Organismen, die in verschiedenen Datenbanken verfügbar sind, und hat ihre Sekundärstruktur vorhergesagt und sie auf einer Seite zugänglich gemacht. Der architektonische Überblick über die Datenbank, d.h. die visuelle Modellierung der tRNA-Datenbank, wurde mit Hilfe der Unified Modelling Language [UML] und Rational Rose 98i erstellt. Die Software clustalW und DCSE (Dedicated Comparative Sequence Editor) wurden für die Vorhersage und Validierung der Sekundärstruktur dieser tRNA verwendet. Das Ziel ist es, die Daten aus diesen Datenbanken mit einer benutzerfreundlichen Suchmaschine für Studenten und Forscher zu verwenden, um tRNA-Sequenzen mit ihrer Sekundärstruktur leicht zu finden und ihre Forschung voranzutreiben.
