Los artículos se centran en el rol cultural, social, político, económico y tecnológico que la arquitectura ha asumido en el transcurso de la historia, desde el remoto pasado hasta el presente, así como las perspectivas para el futuro, inspirándonos a explorar los nichos de oportunidad y retos que las arquitecturas ofrecen para los profesionales del mañana. Pero también, nuestro compromiso con la construcción de conocimiento nos obliga analizar críticamente la responsabilidad que las arquitecturas han tenido, tienen y tendrán en el desarrollo del bienestar humano global. 10
