Nature is the Gift of God and it composed of all essential items for maintaining a healthy comfortable lifesustainably for all organisms in the world if utilized properly. The three pillars of sustainable developmentwere widely agreed at the 1992 Earth Summit to be economic viability, environmental sustainability andsocial equity. The emerging discipline of natural and environmental resource management helps to designa better design, where the three pillars are in a more appropriate balance. Appropriate policies for naturaland environmental management for sustainable development are being sought by many in the present era. However, as highlighted by the World Conference on Environment and Development held in Rio de Janieroin 1992, political processes of searching for workable solutions such problems face many obstacles. But inany case political processes must also be supplemented by in-depth economic analysis and carefulidentification of issues and workable policies. Unless this is done, concern is likely to degenerate intorhetoric and policy proposals may lack solid foundations.
