Cette étude aborde la question de la demande croissante de logements urbains au Pakistan en développant des logements abordables et économes en énergie, adaptés aux conditions climatiques et socio-économiques locales. Grâce à une conception passive, à l’utilisation de matériaux durables et à l’intégration de l’énergie solaire, des logements modulaires de 300 et 600 pieds carrés ont été conçus et évalués. Les résultats ont montré une amélioration du confort thermique, une réduction de la consommation d’énergie, un coût abordable et une évolutivité favorable au développement urbain durable.
