Being different and being slightly overweight are just some of her adversities. In Little Purple Plays Soccer, Little Purple joins a soccer team, the HIgh Flyers, but she finds herself sitting on the bench.. Her overly-zealous coach is very serious about winning and because Little Purple isn't very good at playing soccer, she doesn't get to play in the games. It is not fun sitting on the bench, so Little Purple decides to work harder and practice more.. The HIgh Flyers are down to their last game and Little Purple has yet to play in a single game.
