Les droits de l’homme occupent progressivement une place centrale dans l’agenda international du 21e siècle. Plus qu’un grand mouvement ou une doctrine, on se rend de plus en plus compte que les droits de l’homme sont en fin de compte un mode de vie. Dans ce débat sur les droits de l’homme, la question des réfugiés dans le monde est l’un des problèmes les plus complexes auxquels la communauté internationale est confrontée aujourd’hui. Cette question fait l’objet d’un débat intense tant au niveau national qu’international, à la recherche de moyens plus efficaces pour protéger et aider ces groupes particulièrement vulnérables, qui subissent constamment des violations de leurs droits de l’homme. Ce livre est une étude de la situation juridique des réfugiés dans le droit international contemporain ; plus précisément, nous visons à analyser le droit international des réfugiés et son internalisation au Brésil. La situation internationale récente a donné une plus grande importance à cette question, puisque la communauté des nations semble se rendre compte, de plus en plus, que son respect a une grande influence sur la protection des droits de l’homme.
